Board Adopts Policy Statement of the PTAB Bar Association Regarding Diversity and Inclusion

Reaffirming the member values expressed in the Association’s founding charter, the Board has approved a new Diversity and Inclusion Policy that is intended to help guide and enhance all Association activities. Members Invited to Participate in Both Affinity and Substantive Committees

All PTAB Bar Association members are invited to join a committee based on their areas of interest. As the organization has evolved, it has become clear that many members would like to participate in both a substantive standing committee and an affinity committee focused on particular groups within the membership. Therefore, members are now permitted to serve on two committees: a regular standing committee and an affinity committee.

PTAB Bar Association Bylaws Updated

On November 29, the PTAB Bar Association Board of Directors invited all members to vote on proposed changes to the bylaws and articles of incorporation of the PTAB Bar Association. By a majority vote of those members present, the Association’s bylaws were amended to change the structure of its Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors thanks all the members or reviewed changes, provided feedback, and participated in the vote. The Board particularly thanks Marc Richards of Brinks Gilson & Lione for his assistance in this project and his ongoing dedication to the Association.

 

2019 PTAB Bar Association Annual Conference
