2020 PTAB Bar Association Conference Postponed

The PTAB Bar Association has made the difficult decision to postpone this week’s conference in light of the increasing spread of COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding the present situation today, especially given the recent COVID-19 cases including a report in the neighborhood adjacent the conference location in the Washington D.C. area.  This was an extremely difficult decision to make—many people have spent countless hours working to ensure a successful conference—and up until today we believed we would be able to proceed.  However, we now believe the prudent course, to ensure the safety of our members, our speakers, and the community, and in light of many speakers that are now unable to participate due to corporate travel restrictions, is to postpone the conference.

Please note that the previously-noticed business meeting and election scheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 12 p.m. eastern will be conducted by phone at that time. Dial-in details will follow.

We are in the process of considering next steps, and will be in touch with everyone soon.  In the meantime, we wish to thank everyone for the continued support, and look forward to continuing our efforts to foster discussions and collegiality with the PTAB community. Special thanks also go to our annual conference committee and the committee leaders: Dan Zeilberger, Heather Petruzzi, Scott Jarratt, Gasper LaRosa, and Dave Cavanaugh, for their hard work and resilience in this challenging time.
